Biography
Lance Howell is better known as the front man from the Rock/Americana band, Big Shoals. In 2012 Howell and band began staking their claim and playing their own mixture of rock & roll, americana and folk music. Since then the band has released 2 records, "Still Go On" in 2014 and the critically acclaimed "Hard Lessons" in 2016. NO DEPRESSION stated "Howell should be in equal plane with the Isbells and Stapletons, it’s Americana’s Americana. " "They are the antithesis of all the current Americana bullshit." After the release of Hard Lessons, the main members of the band moved away from Gainesville, FL and Howell now lives in Tulsa, OK, with plans to release 2 solo records in 2024, as well as other projects.
